Growing Aadya

Pictures of a growing girl..

She is now close to five months old and weighs more than what babies of her age should be. However, like her father, she is playing catch up in the hair-growth area :-)

Some of the naughty things that she has started doing.. Holding both her feet with her hands while lying on her back.

She has also started trying to turn over and lie on her tummy. She gets upto 120 degrees but then drops on to her back again

Apart from this, she has started recognizing her favourite toys, the music and definitely enjoys playing with them. Her happiness is translated into short screams and thumping of her legs and hands on the bed.

She also tries to move her mouth, makes small funny noises and goo-goos

First intake of solid food...

She took her first solid food. One spoonful of boiled and mashed apple was her first introduction to solid diet.

She did make some funny faces and took quite some time to finish it but at the end of the day, it was a grand success. She has also been introduced to water and takes a couple of spoonfuls of the same.

Satlaj & Aadya have been alone at Gurgaon from 4th September onwards while Ram makes a 3 week visit to Germany (Munich)

Settling down in Gurgaon....

it has been close to two weeks at gurgaon. she took her time adjusting to the new place after spending close to 3 months at goa.

one of the nice things about this apt is the open spaces and the small gardens that are close by. we have started taking her out in the mornings for a walk and she loves to spend time enjoying the breeze and looking at the blue sky

amma appa were here till yesterday 3rd sep and spent a lot of time playing with her and being with her. we went shopping to some of the malls in gurgaon but mostly spent time at home.
